Life of a Modern Pinup ~ Styling Vintage Clothing #1

At the tail end of last year I FINALLY started going to the monthly Antique Festival at the South Florida Fair Grounds in West Palm Beach.

If you're into Vintage/Retro/Old Hollywood/Antique ANYTING and I mean ANYTHING you're going to find it out there, and its so much fun to hunt around and search though all of the fun treasures.

Needless to say, I automatically tend to hone in on the clothing/accessory vendors. Nothing quite like a few authentic VINTAGE pieces in my wardrobe.

My Life of a Modern Pinup segment will show you how I style authentic vintage clothing during work/school/ running errands and generally everyday life.

Styling a Vintage Purse et Jacket ~ pour Work

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS JACKET!!! Its a product of either the late 50's or early 60's era and has some wonderfully historical labels sewn on the inside.

This jacket was created by the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. A nice little piece of History!

I typically wear this jacket to work and style it with either a simple A-Line black dress, or high waisted pencil skirt. It can be worn Open, Buttoned-up or Over the Shoulders.

Black woven, wicker Koret Handbag is also Vintage (another Fair find, not sure what era its from though).

Dress paired with 50's-60's era Jacket.
A nice pop of color et Old Glam.

Jacket and Purse were both purchased from vendor Barbara Solomon 'Oldies but Goodies' booth.

Love Always,
